Determining Your Destiny Number
Coming up with your destiny number. Your destiny number is the sum of your entire name as it appears on your birth certificate.
Reduce each name to a single number, then reduce the sum of those numbers to a single digit. As always, we leave the master numbers 11 and 22 whole.
As an example: Johnathan David Pierce would reduce to a destiny number of 7
Johnathan = 1 + 6 + 8 + 5 + 1 + 2 + 8 + 1 + 5 = 37 and 3 + 7 = 10 and 1 + 0 = 1
David = 4 + 1 + 4 + 9 + 4 = 22
Pierce = 7 + 9 + 5 + 9 + 3 + 5 = 38 and 3 + 8 = 11
Destiny Number = 1 + 22 + 11 = 34 and 3 + 4 = 7
Determining Your Soul Urge Number
Coming up with your soul urge number. Your sould urge number is the sum of the vowels in your full birth name.
Add the corresponding numbers together and reduce to a single digit keeping master numbers 11 and 22 as a whole.
A, E, I, O, U are always vowels. Y is a vowel when it is used in place of a traditional vowel.
Determining Inner Dreams Number
Coming up with your inner dreams number. Your inner dreams number is the sum of all of the consonants in your full birth name.
Add the corresponding numbers together and reduce to a single digit keeping master numbers 11 and 22 as a whole.
If you use Y as a vowel, then it isn’t counted as a consonant. If Y has not been used as a vowel then you would add it in when determining your inner dreams number.
Destiny Number
In name numerology, the destiny number is by far the most important. It describes the actions that you must take in your lifetime to meet your full potential.
Another way of looking at it is that it shows you the opportunities that you have at your disposal in this lifetime. These opportunities may not be easy to accomplish, but they are available to you, and you should strive to achieve them.
Soul Urge Number
Some refer to this as the heart’s desire number. It represents what you love most in life. What drives you to accomplish daily tasks.
Satisfying these inner desires will make you feel content and complete, but this number is not exceptionally important in name numerology as it’s something that is normally kept secret within yourself and not shared with others.
Inner Dreams Number
The inner dreams number is sometimes called the personality number. Both names describe what this number represents.

Ironically, the inner dream itself is never meant to be met and in itself is not an especially important number in name numerology.
